Walking Forward Together: Catholic Education Week 2017

​April 30 to May 5 is Catholic Education Week in Ontario. This year's theme is "Walking Forward Together."

In the Archdiocese of Toronto, we are grateful for the partnership and collaboration we have with Catholic schools, which are an important part of the faith formation equation of family, parish and school. Within our archdiocesan boundaries, there are six Catholic school boards (five English, one French).

To teachers, staff and trustees: thank you for your tireless work to make Christ known through Catholic education. Your efforts often go unseen but play an invaluable role in forming faith-filled future leaders.

To students: in Catholic education, we learn the purpose of life: to love God and to love your neighbour. May you always walk forward in love toward the ultimate purpose for which you were created!
